How we look after your family's information

Tatiana Lima ("Tati", "we") runs this practice and is the data controller for the personal information you share through this website, by email or in a consultation. For any privacy question or request, email hello@tatianalima.com.

When you send a booking request: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number; your relationship to any child named; your answers to the short questionnaire; and, for each person whose chart is read, a first name, date, time and place of birth and how certain the time is.

When you use the contact form: your name, email address and message.

We don't need surnames for children, and we never ask for medical, diagnostic or other health information. Please don't include it.

A chart can only be calculated from a date, time and place of birth, so we use these details to prepare your charts, hold your consultation and write your summary. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to provide the service you ask for (contract). Where you share birth details of another adult or a child, you confirm you have their agreement or are their parent or legal guardian.

Session recordings and occasional journal emails are optional and rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Website forms are sent securely (HTTPS) from our web host to Tati's business email account. Birth details are then entered into Tati's chart software. Card payments are handled by our payment provider through a secure link: we never see or store your card details. Video consultations take place on Zoom.

Each of these providers acts on our instructions and is bound by data-protection terms. Accounts are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

You choose when you book. Either we delete birth details 30 days after your summary is delivered, or we keep them securely for 24 months so a follow-up reading doesn't need them again. Booking and payment records are kept for six years because tax law requires it, but these don't include birth details.

Only Tati. Your information is never sold, shared for marketing or used to train software. Your summary is delivered through a private, expiring download link rather than as an open email attachment.

Recordings are optional and only made if you ask for one when booking. They're shared with you privately and deleted from our side after 90 days.

When a reading involves a child, we ask you to confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or have their parent's permission. We never publish a child's name, birth date, birth time or birthplace, and we never use real children's charts in marketing. Examples on this site are fictional.

This website doesn't use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie banner. The Big Three tool works entirely in your browser: nothing you type into it is sent to us or stored.

If we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics in future, we'll update this page first.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@tatianalima.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
