About readings
What is a natal chart?
A natal chart, or birth chart, is a map of where the Sun, Moon and planets were at the exact moment and place of someone's birth. Astrologers interpret it as a picture of a person's tendencies, needs and drives.
Can you tell me my child's future?
No. Readings for children never include predictions. A chart describes possibilities and patterns to reflect on. Your child's future is shaped by far more than any chart, and it belongs to them.
Can astrology tell me which school to choose?
No. A reading may highlight characteristics worth considering when you think about the environments where your child seems most comfortable and engaged. Your own observation, and professional educational advice where needed, should always lead.
Can astrology diagnose ADHD or autism?
No. Astrology can't diagnose any psychological, educational or medical condition, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia or anxiety. If you have concerns, please speak to your GP, health visitor, school SENCo or another qualified professional.
Can you compare siblings?
Yes. The Sibling Dynamics reading compares two or more children's charts, and the Family Reading includes parents too.
Birth details
What information do you need?
For each person: a first name, date of birth, time of birth as exactly as you know it, and town and country of birth. Nothing else is required.
Why is birth time important?
The Rising sign and the houses depend on the time and change quickly, roughly every two hours for the Rising sign. The more accurate the time, the more of the chart can be read with confidence.
What if I don't know the exact birth time?
You can still book. Tati can read the Sun, most planets and the aspects between them. The Ascendant, Midheaven and houses can't be read reliably without a time, and she'll tell you which parts of the reading depend on it.
Children & families
Does my child attend the consultation?
No, readings are for parents. Children don't need to take part, and it's usually better that they don't.
Can both parents join?
Yes, both parents are welcome on any reading at no extra cost. To include both parents' charts, choose the Family Reading.
Can you read adopted children's charts?
Yes, if you have the birth details. We'll be sensitive to your family's story, and the reading will focus on your child as they are now.
Can you read a baby's chart?
Yes. Their First Sky is a written keepsake designed for babies and young children, and the Understanding Your Child reading works from birth onwards.
Can grandparents buy a reading?
Yes, as a gift voucher. The child's parent or guardian then books, gives consent and provides the birth details directly.
Booking & payment
How do I book?
Choose a reading on the booking page and send your request with a preferred day and time. Tati replies within two working days to confirm an exact appointment and sends a secure card payment link. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
How far ahead can I book?
Most readings can be arranged within one to three weeks. Tati prepares every chart in advance, so very short-notice appointments aren't always possible.
Can I buy a reading as a gift?
Yes. Gift vouchers are available for any reading and are valid for 12 months. Get in touch through the contact page and Tati will send a voucher and payment link.
Sessions
How long does a consultation last?
75 minutes for a child or adult reading, 90 minutes for Parent + Child or Sibling Dynamics, and 120 minutes for a Family Reading.
Will the session be recorded?
Only if you ask. Recording is an optional tick-box when you book, and you can change your mind before we start.
Can we have a follow-up?
Yes. Many parents like to revisit the conversation as their child grows or when family life changes, perhaps at the start of school or in adolescence. There's no expectation to.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes, by arrangement in the UK. Most readings take place on Zoom.
Do you offer international Zoom consultations?
Yes. Appointment times are shown in UK time with your local time alongside, and birth charts can be calculated for any place in the world.
Privacy
How is my child's information protected?
We collect only what a chart needs, store it securely, never share it and never publish anything that could identify your child. See the privacy page for details.
Can I delete my child's information afterwards?
Yes, at any time. When you book you can also choose to have birth details deleted automatically once your summary has been delivered.
